Serra Anatomica, which has been providing cyclists with the most comfortable saddles in the world, has broken away from the tradition of leather saddles and developed the X2.

The most important aspect of the X2 is that this saddle can be completely disassembled and reassembled with an Allen key.
Serra Anatomica, which considers saddle leather to be a consumable item like tires, has been offering a leather replacement service, but with the X2 you can replace the saddle leather yourself every 5 to 7 years without having to send it to the manufacturer for replacement.

X2 The saddle leather used in X2 is the same water-shed leather used in X1.
Traditional saddle leather is soaked in water and then molded and dried, a process that makes the leather fibers line up in one direction, making it very hard and requiring years to acclimatE Watershed leather is made of two layers: high-grade U.S. full-grain leather and top-grain leather that is glued to the leather to hold it in placE The leather is then formed in a unique press that can form the leather as it dries. The result is a saddle leather that is flexible, supple, and conforms to your hips in a matter of days.

The X2 also features a cast aluminum main frame and stainless steel saddle rails, which is 95 grams lighter than the steel frame and chromoly rails of the X1. And this unique modular system saddle is assembled with a 2.5mm Allen key adjustable rivet system named Chicago Screws.

The X2 saddle has a "slot" cut into the center of the saddle that is synonymous with Serra Anatomica's unique design. The human body moves differently when pedaling. The "slots" in the saddle, especially in the rear wing, allow for the opposite up and down motion of the saddle, using the pressure of pedaling to reduce pain in the perineum and sciatic bonE This system, which Serra Anatomica calls "Flexfly," is the reason why many long touring cyclists around the world spend a lot of time pedaling in their saddles.

The X2 is a breakthrough in the history of saddles, incorporating a modular system that is significantly different from the norm, and we invite you to experience the new wave of leather saddles that are stronger, lighter, and more revolutionary than ever beforE
