Traditional saddle leather is soaked in water and then molded and dried, a process that makes the leather fibers line up in one direction, making it very hard and requiring years to acclimatE Watershed leather is made of two layers: high-grade U.S. full-grain leather and top-grain leather that is glued to the leather to hold it in placE The leather is then formed in a unique press that can form the leather as it dries. The result is a saddle leather that is flexible, supple, and conforms to your hips in a matter of days.

The X2 also features a cast aluminum main frame and stainless steel saddle rails, which is 95 grams lighter than the steel frame and chromoly rails of the X1. And this unique modular system saddle is assembled with a 2.5mm Allen key adjustable rivet system named Chicago Screws.
