tade qui, who held a pop-up at Circles last month. We have stocked some wonderful items, crafted with attention to detail to enrich your rides.

About tade qui
tade qui creates gear centered around bicycle bags (for bikepacking).
The brand name comes from the Japanese proverb "Tade kuu mushi mo sukizuki" (There is no accounting for taste; literally: "Even the bug that eats knotweed has its own preferences").
The owner, Mr. Hosokawa, says:
"There are many ways to enjoy cycling. Sometimes you enjoy a pure ride, and other times you enjoy loading up your favorite gear for camping, fishing, or a coffee ride."
He crafts bags for cyclists who are "obsessed with gear."

Lineup
Mr. Hosokawa has been involved in clothing for many years and has spent a lot of time in the saddle as a cyclist. I feel that experience is deeply reflected in every item.
From the items that have arrived this time, I would like to introduce three models:
"cafe racer" front bag
"Hang out" frame bag
"camp trooper" rear bag
As a matter of fact, these are the three models I used on my recent fishing trip.

Yes, actually, these are the three models I used during my recent fishing trip.
cafe racer / Front Bag

Unfortunately, I didn't set up a headwater cafe this time, but it had enough storage to carry a full coffee set. Its greatest feature is that it is a "front bag that does not use a front rack."
It is designed with the assumption of using an EVERNEW Alu table, a folding table, as the base, and is fixed by the tension of the webbing tape, causing the bag to float in the cockpit in a hammock-like shape. It’s surprising that this much capacity can be secured without a rack.

Color : A-tacs U/CON Cordura 1000D , self-defence-force-camo
Price : ¥16,500 (tax incl.) ~ ¥18,700 (tax incl.)
hang out / Frame Bag

A frame bag that lets you freely decide what to carry, and one that I personally felt was the most "tade qui-like."
I packed my fishing rod. I was even spoiled with a custom rod case from tade qui. I had no worries about breaking my rod, could smoothly transition into fishing, and found it extremely useful.
Also, it has a unique design where the main bag plate floats in the center of the frame's front triangle due to the mil-spec webbing tape. The structure prevents the bag from hitting the frame, which is a nice point since it’s less likely to scratch your bike.
Also, for "hang out," custom orders for the plate are possible to match your frame, so if you want one that fits your bike perfectly, please consult with Circles.

Color : Black , Self defence force , A-TACS U|con
Price : ¥15,700 (tax incl.) ~ ¥20,900 (tax incl.)
camp trooper / Rear Bag

A rear bag used in combination with a Carradice Bagman QR. It’s nice that because it has a single cargo compartment, you can fit large, heavy items. Since it uses the Molle system, you can expand your packing options by using items like RAL Pack It Right Straps.

Color : Self defence force camo , A-tacs U/con , Black
Price : ¥17,600 (tax incl.) ~ ¥19,800 (tax incl.)
* Attachment requires a CARRADICE Bagman QR, and a separately sold Mule is required to secure the bag.
Beautiful bags for beautiful bikes
At tade qui, items are created with a focus on "harmony with the bicycle," "storage capacity," and the "aesthetics of the bag itself."
When I actually attached and used them, I felt that the bike and the gear were a perfect match.
I feel that the ingenuity like in the "cafe racer" and "hang out," which reduces the contact surface between the frame and the bag, is a wonderful way of balancing, showing a style that also places weight on the look.
Also, the bags equipped with the Molle system will follow the cyclist's purpose even as their style changes. You can use them for a long time while adding changes to the settings.
And these items, packed with ideas, are all handmade. They are made one by one by Mr. Hosokawa's hands. We are truly happy that Circles is the only place that carries and stocks tade qui items.
As they are handmade products by Mr. Hosokawa, the stock for each item is limited. If you are interested, please check them out in the store this weekend!
