[MECHANIC'S COMMENT]

VELOCITY / Velocity Aero is an aluminum rim that combines light weight and moderate rigidity, making it a well-balanced model for high-speed gravel riding. Despite its classic looks, the rim's lean cross-sectional design converts the force of your footsteps into propulsive force, which is used to improve cruising performance and acceleration on paved surfaces.

The relatively slim rim profile is compatible with tires in the 28c to 35c range, making it ideal for settings that emphasize light rolling. It fits the speedier side of gravel road riding, offering stable straightness and responsiveness when cruising at high speeds on paved routes and tight dirt roads. It is not overly heavy, making it easy to handle even when climbing or accelerating/decelerating.

When combined with race-oriented gravel, fast touring, or road-oriented all-road bikes, its lightness and direct feel stand out. It is a classic and practical choice for riders looking for speed and simplicity.

VELOCITY Dynamo Disc is a practical and reliable dynamo hub that provides a stable power supply from everyday to long distance touring. Despite its compact body, it has sufficient power generation performance, and with modern specifications compatible with through-axle and disc brakes, it can be naturally integrated into gravel and touring bikes.

Its greatest feature is its power generation performance, which can stably supply power from around 15 km/h. This allows for constant lighting during nighttime and long-distance rides, greatly reducing concerns about running out of battery power. The design with slight resistance leads to a rather smooth rotation in actual riding, and provides a stress-free feeling even on long rides.

In addition, the sealed cartridge bearings provide high weather resistance and ease of maintenance. The simple construction makes maintenance easy, and allows for use in harsh environments such as rainy weather and extended touring. From commuting to camping touring to bikepacking, this reliability-oriented dynamo hub is suitable for any ride that requires power.

It is recommended for touring versions of high-speed gravel bikes such as the WILDE Rambler SL, Ritchey Outback, and CRUST Bombora.

What is a wheel in a bicycle? It is an important part for a bicycle to move forward and has a great influence on the appearance of the bicycle. The wheels are such a very, very important component. This time, I would like to talk about how they are assembled, not about their performance.

In the world of bicycle wheels, there are two types: "fully assembled" and "hand-assembled.

Complete assembly" is a wheel that is sent out by the wheel manufacturer as a finished product, and we, store mechanics, rarely have to make any major adjustments to it. (Some wheels need to be fine-tuned, and some wheels need to be hand-assembled.) Because of this, some wheels are made for a specific group of people, or for professionals, or for professional-level riders, and they are not made with each individual customer in mind.

This is where Circles' specialty, "hand assembly" comes in.

The advantage of "hand assembly" is that we, mechanics, select the parts that make up the wheel one by one and assemble them to complete the wheel to make it just right for the user.
