The Outback is a tough and reliable rim designed for gravel riding, MTB trail riding, and cross country racing.
The asymmetric (asymmetric / offset) design improves the balance between left and right spoke tension by up to 30%, resulting in a stiffer, more durable, and more stable wheel. This 20-inch model rim accommodates tire widths from 35mm to 67mm (1.35" to 2.6") and can reliably handle the footwork of cargo bikes loaded with luggage or tough minivelos pushing through rough terrain.
The name "Outback" refers to Australia's vast unexplored lands, symbolizing a sense of adventure and the challenge of exploring the unexplored. Its superior reliability and stability have earned it a reputation among handmade bike builders and many gravel riders.
[FEATURE]
All ASTRAL CYCLING rims are designed to maximize tubeless compatibility. The center of the rim has a deep groove called a "Drop Channel" that allows for smooth installation of tubeless tires. The "Tubeless Easy" system, which features a precision-aligned bead seat diameter for easy and safe tire installation and removal, is also used. This system also reduces the risk of bead damage. In addition, the design allows the bead to be easily raised even with a floor pump, making it easy to change tires in your garage or at home, depending on where you ride.

- We ship within 1-2 business days after receiving your order (payment). (Basically, orders placed before 12:00 p.m. are shipped the same day.)
- Messenger delivery is available within Nagoya City only.
- We ship every day from Monday to Sunday, except on temporary holidays.
- Available delivery areas: All over Japan and the world.

Regarding the delivery of complete bikes
- Please note that a separate shipping fee of 9,900 yen (tax included) will be charged for shipping complete bikes. (However, an additional fee will be charged for delivery to Okinawa and remote islands.)
- After receiving your order, we will do a final check and ship complete bikes, but it may take 1-2 weeks. Please understand.
- We will send the bike with some parts removed for packing. We strongly recommend that you have your bicycle assembled at your nearest bicycle store.

- We apologize for any sales discrepancies at the store.
Regarding the delivery of frame sets
- Nationwide flat-rate shipping: 5,500 yen (tax included) (However, an additional fee will be charged for delivery to Okinawa and remote islands.)

- We will provide the pre-treatment of facing and tapping for the frame sets purchased at our store as a service. We will inform you separately after purchase.
