Living near the rich, natural landscapes of the Suzuka Mountains, one cyclist wanted a bike that could let him see more scenery than ever before and conquer every road he encountered.
To carry those heartfelt aspirations, he chose the SIM WORKS Doppo ATB.

Durable, comfortable, and ready to go anywhere with confidence
The owner's first sports bike was a TREK Checkpoint. He customized that 700c-wheeled bike to his liking, eventually installing 650b wheels. He enjoyed various rides by choosing his wheel size based on the situation, but at some point, he began seeking a bike that was more durable, comfortable, and stable—which led him to purchase the Doppo. The prospect of attaching a rack for trips a few times a year also factored into his decision.
The Choice of Flat Pedals

Using the mountains as his playground and also enjoying hiking, the owner pedals toward the towering Suzuka range whenever he hops on his bike. Sometimes he pushes or carries the bike, or leaves it behind to proceed on foot along the hiking trails. Since he never had a strong fixation on speed and often rides in trekking shoes or BEDROCK SANDALS, he decided to equip his Doppo with SIMWORKS Bubbly Pedals.
News from the Owner
It’s been a few months since the bike was delivered, and I’ve been receiving various updates on his rides.
The owner is already riding this Doppo all over the place. With plans for a rack, panniers, and plenty of other upgrades still in the works, I’m very excited to see how it continues to evolve. And above all, I look forward to the day we can go for a ride together.
