【BEDROCK SANDALS】 Mountain Clog × Bonfire

It’s too hot in the summer to sit by a fire, but that time of year when you can enjoy it again is almost here!

I wanted to head out in my brand new BEDROCK SANDALS Mountain Clog, so I went to Peace Park for a bonfire. (I dressed in autumn/winter attire to set the mood—it was so hot!)

The time for the release is finally upon us!

With a fit that feels like you've attached Vibram soles directly to your feet, BEDROCK SANDALS provide a comfortable foundation for outdoor scenes, and their cold-weather version, the Mountain Clog, is definitely the pair to have for the coming season.

The wide toe box is great!

I wanted to bring you all a more realistic review, so I got to try them out a little early! (By the way, I've only ever worn their sandals, so this was my first time with the Mountain Clog!)

First off, the toe area is spacious and easy to wear! Even with my wide feet, I can wear them loosely, and thanks to the excellent fit system inherited from the Cairn, the heel and instep are held securely.

Furthermore, the suede leather I chose is lightweight and flexible, and it has a soft mesh lining. It doesn't have the weight of trekking shoes; it feels fluffy to wear and has excellent breathability. It might even be great as a relaxation shoe after hiking.

This relaxed feel is irresistibly good, and the rounded form that this looseness brings is absolutely perfect.

Of course, they are perfect for light hikes, and they’ll be reliable for rides in the coming season as well.

The colors are great!

With that rounded form, they look just like baked sweet potatoes. Aren't they too cute? The colors this time are especially good; honestly, it’s really hard to decide which one to choose.

My color is Deep Plum, a deep shade of purple. It has presence but a certain subtlety that doesn't overpower, making it a great color that will accent simple outfits. Playing with sock colors will be really fun, too!

Whether you choose by leather material or by your favorite color, it’s all good. The nubuck leather Driftwood Gray and the suede Ponderosa Brown are also great colors, so please come by the store and compare them in person.

They go great with a bonfire!

This might be tied heavily to my own personal hobbies, but they are an absolutely perfect match for bonfires!

Bonfires are used for burning dry leaves, cooking, and keeping warm, among other things, but I get an itch to start one whenever I want to hit the reset button on my brain.

When I do that, the most important thing is to relax both mind and body.
The BEDROCK SANDALS Mountain Clog was truly perfect for relaxing my feet.

They are easy to walk in on unpaved roads, and you can feel the unevenness of the ground just right.
As mentioned earlier, the toe area is extremely roomy, so you can stay relaxed even while wearing them.

Furthermore, leather is one of the materials valued in camping and bonfire scenes. While it’s obviously great for its look and the way it ages, the number one reason is its durability and heat resistance. It protects your feet from the heat of the fire, so you don't have to worry about a few stray sparks.
