Whether you're wandering through the hills, cycling along a riverbed, or relaxing around a campfire at your campsite, it seems like more and more people find themselves "looking down to realize they're wearing their BEDROCK SANDALS."
Surely, this is because they have fallen in love with the comfort, functionality, and look of BEDROCK SANDALS, and we have good news for those people!

The Mountain Clog, developed with the concept of wanting to create a pair that delivers the free comfort and functionality of sandals even in colder seasons, is back with new colors for each material.
While they will be released in the United States on September 10th (local time), the release in Japan will begin on September 20th. If you are interested, please contact Circles or any of our authorized retailers.
Let's take another look at what the Mountain Clog is all about.
BEDROCK SANDALS Mountain Clog

A few years ago, BEDROCK SANDALS moved its base from Oakland, California, to Missoula, Montana, where vast, nature-rich outdoor fields unfold.
They moved to live closer to the things they love—the rivers flowing through remote mountains, the endless forests—and to experience more. Montana is the perfect playground for people who love sandals. However, when a real Montana winter arrived, they began to wonder: could they create something that retains the free comfort and functionality of a sandal in cold climates?

And so, the Mountain Clog was born. They poured all of the BEDROCK SANDALS DNA into creating a sandal that covers the toes.
With a style that fully covers the top of your foot and toes, the Mountain Clog allows you to stay comfortable despite the winter cold, making it a pair you can wear all year round. Pair them with thick, warm socks for outstanding insulation. Plus, since there is less worry about bumping your toes or dropping something and getting injured, you can wear them carefree while staying safe in a variety of situations.

Furthermore, their rounded, gentle appearance pairs perfectly not just with outdoor wear, but also with casual clothing, making them a great "stylish pair" for everyday use, not just for the outdoors.
Features
Excellent Retention Strap System

The top-of-foot and heel straps can be adjusted with G-hooks, just like on the Cairn. Because there is no toe-post strap, the hold is slightly less than that of the Cairn series, but in exchange, you get a sense of freedom for your toes. The strap on the outside of the instep can be released with one action and also allows for a secure fit, making them smooth to put on and take off.
Comfort-Focused Footbed

The footbed features a gentle, three-dimensional shape—right between the completely flat Cairn Evo and the contoured Cairn Evo 3D designed for arch support. The thickness provides excellent cushioning, making them comfortable to wear all day without fatigue.
Outsole featuring Vibram® Mega Grip

The outsole was newly designed specifically for the Clog. While it provides the functionality needed for outdoor activities, it is also easy to use for pedaling a bicycle and for daily wear. And because it uses Vibram® Mega Grip, it offers exceptional grip even in wet or muddy conditions.
Rubber-Coated Toe Cap

The toe area, which is prone to physical contact, is rubber-coated to improve safety and durability.
With these features, the Mountain Clog is comfortable for daily use and capable of handling an 800-mile AZT thru-hike. Furthermore, because your toes are covered, you can wear thick socks to prevent your feet from getting cold in chilly weather.
Materials and Models
The upper is available in three materials: real nubuck leather, suede leather, and synthetic leather.
Nubuck Leather

Nubuck is available in two colors: the continuing brown plus a new gray.

The upper uses Oiled Nubuck DriTan™️ from Ecco Leather. It is made from a single, unlined piece of leather that fits your feet supplely and offers excellent durability. The oiled leather is water-resistant and can handle getting wet. Naturally, the leather will develop marks from water and dirt, but that only adds to its great character over time.
Suede Leather

Ponderosa Brown Upper – Block Landscape Webbing
Deep Plum Upper – Deep Plum WebbingPrice: ¥36,300 (tax included)

Synthetic Suede

Synthetic Suede
Gray Upper / Black Webbing

Synthetic suede continues this season in gray only.
The synthetic microfiber upper from Clarino, featuring perforated ventilation, is made from sustainable materials that reduce water and CO2 emissions, keeping the natural environment in mind. The lining consists of durable and comfortable polyester mesh.
Sizing
The size of the Mountain Clog is relatively close to the new Cairn Evo series released this spring, but it has a slightly smaller build. Therefore, for those who wear the Cairn Evo series with a perfect, snug fit rather than extra room, we recommend going one size up.

Where will you go in your Mountain Clogs? How will you play? We hope you'll look forward to the release while you imagine all the possibilities.
