We recently introduced WILDE, and as we mentioned at the end of that blog post, today we’re highlighting a must-have item for WILDE owners.
Some of you may have recognized it from the Supertramp build.
Jeff’s Take on the Modern Off-Road Touring Bar

Jeff knows his way around old MTBs, and when he set out to create his dream off-road touring bar—much like the pioneers of early-1980s mountain biking—the Nitto Country Bar was born.
At an unconventional 800 mm wide, the bar has a distinctive shape that rises up and sweeps back toward the rider. You’d think bars with both rise and backsweep would be easy to find, but they’re surprisingly rare. It’s the perfect bar for the Supertramp.

It lets you sit upright for comfortable cruising, and while it won’t dart through mountain trails like a trail bike, it gives you the confidence to handle the occasional descent on a trail encountered during a dirt-road tour.

I think this bar is a perfect fit for the classic American-style ATB, with 29-inch wheels and wide tires.
And of course, it’s made by Nitto, Japan’s pride and joy. Make the most of its width and comfortable flex on bikepacking trips or city cruises—give it a try.

A Special WILDE and PAUL COMPONENT Stem to Liven Up Your Cockpit

And here’s a stem that pairs perfectly with the bar.
Following last year’s collaboration between WILDE and PAUL, which produced a stem finished in zebra-pattern splatter anodizing, a reverse-color version has arrived.

The original release in the U.S. included not only stems, but also seatposts and levers. This time, a tiny number of stems have miraculously made their way to us.
Of course, the base is PAUL’s acclaimed Boxcar Stem.

It’s a personal favorite, with the perfect balance of stiffness, strength, and low weight. It comes in four lengths: 50 mm, 70 mm, 90 mm, and 100 mm, with options to suit everything from the Supertramp to the Rambler.
Whether you ride a WILDE or not, this is a stem worth getting your hands on. Stock is very limited, so don’t miss out if you’re interested!
