Hello, it’s Rintaro.
I recently had my wisdom teeth removed, and I was honestly terrified when a handlebar-shaped tool—the one I want to introduce today—entered my mouth.
Since I also consider myself an activist for wisdom tooth extraction awareness, I’m happy to offer advice if you’re worried about getting yours out.
So, the handle that ended up in my mouth during surgery is none other than the SimWorks Ramble Bar.
It’s been a while since it was last in stock, so I’m re-introducing it.

The Ramble Bar was born from the unique sensibilities of Kevin at GOLDEN PLIERS, a landmark shop that has built a unique and original community in Portland, Oregon—the home base of SimWorks USA, the product development arm of Circles.

With its wide profile and moderate rise, its shape is perfect for tearing through the majestic roads, gravel, and singletrack of Portland, one of the most bike-friendly towns in America.
It measures 710mm from end to end, which doesn't feel exceptionally wide compared to modern flat bars, but perhaps that’s due to the aggressive 65-degree backsweep. When you actually hold one, it feels surprisingly large. (If you just measure the pipe length, it's quite substantial!)

So, who is it perfect for?
I recommend it for those who use their bike almost every day, enjoy relaxed touring on weekends and holidays, and want to ride aggressively every once in a while!
Personally, I love the significant backsweep, which provides the "comfortable position" that is essential for a commuter bike. If you use your bike daily for commuting or running errands, being able to ride in a comfortable posture with a wide field of vision is key.
Also, the hook sections are long, so you can wrap them with bar tape or attach grips to enjoy cruising on flat roads, and it’s also helpful for changing your position while touring. (Position changes are super important!!!)

The logo is printed upside down, which means you can also flip the bar over. If you want to ride aggressively on rough roads or gravel, I recommend mounting it that way.
Thanks to its shape, it's easy to mount racks, baskets, and handlebar bags, and it's a great fit for any build. It looks so cool!
It's great to put on your own bike, or you could go ahead and talk your friends into getting one too (?)
In any case, this was an introduction to a handlebar I really want you to try.
⚠️A Word of Caution⚠️
This is a favorite handlebar of Keita-san from Early Birds and Nishipa Kimura, but they both agreed that "it's a pain to get it into your own room!"
They were laughing so hard when they said it, so it seems like it's not actually a problem.
The ride quality is exceptional, and it’s a unique bar, so just push through with grit and determination!!!!!!
After all, wisdom tooth extraction is all about grit and determination too!
That's all!
