The SMOG CUTTER BAR, a collaboration model between SimWorks and the renowned Los Angeles bike shop GSC, was released in limited quantities last autumn and sold out in the blink of an eye. Due to strong demand from the shop, a second production run has been finalized.
However, as this restock will also be a limited production run, it will only be available for purchase to customers who place an order during this pre-order period.

Located in the Silver Lake neighborhood of LA is a small bike shop called GOLDEN SADDLE CYCLERY / GSC. Despite its humble appearance, it is a bike shop that breaks down preconceptions, using the bicycle as a tool for freedom and sharing the joy of cycling with the world.
They have been a dealer for SimWorks USA since the beginning and, thankfully, are important friends who understand our vision and support what we do.
One day, shop manager Kyle Kelly reached out with a request:
"Hey! Let’s make a handlebar together!"
"Why not!"
While we can't say it was built in just a few words, this super limited edition drop bar, the Smog Cutter Bar, was born out of mutual respect—trusting their sense for cycling as much as they trust ours.
He poured the same passion he discussed recently at the THE VANILLA WORK SHOP BUILD-OFF into this handlebar. "A track bike even more comfortable than any track bike I've ever ridden. A track bike with a gear ratio that would make street kids laugh. A track bike with drops wider than most cyclocross bikes." The SimWorkers took his sentiment to heart, stayed up all night, and contacted Nitto to ensure his request was brought to life exactly as envisioned.
