We’ve received a fresh delivery from SKLAR BIKES! Though, this time it’s not frames.
As mentioned in our previous announcement of the Tall Tale, Adam has moved to the Bay Area.

Between managing his Taiwanese production line and planning his handmade badge projects, he seems to be keeping busy daily, working toward his vision of what the SKLAR brand should be.
Adam has designed some new small parts, and we’d like to introduce them to you.
Titanium Bottle Cage

Personally, this came as a bit of a surprise, but given that Adam loves gravel and trail riding, it makes total sense that he’d want to be particular about his bottle cages.
While a bottle cage is just a bottle cage, and they may all look similar, they aren't all made the same way.
There’s a good reason why certain ones are considered “good,” and based on his own riding experience, Adam identified two conflicting factors that are crucial:
①: A secure hold
②: Easy access to the bottle
He concluded that both are essential.

Titanium, with its inherent elasticity, provides the perfect balance for these two needs. That’s what inspired Adam to create this bottle cage.

Weighing in at just 32g while maintaining excellent strength, these cages feature beautiful curves and slotted mounting holes with 15mm of adjustment range. This ensures they fit perfectly even on smaller frame sizes or when used in conjunction with frame bags.

Titanium Seatpost

It might seem like a subtle component, but a seatpost can actually be the ultimate upgrade for your bike—and your backside!
As mentioned earlier, the high strength and springiness of titanium make it ideal for a seatpost. After several iterations, Adam arrived at this two-bolt head design, which allows for flexible adjustment of saddle position and angle while providing a rock-solid hold.

Adam says, “I’ll never forget the first ride I did after switching to a titanium seatpost. It was a long ride, but my seat, my back, and my whole body felt so much better. I was surprised that such a seemingly minor part could make such a huge difference. It absorbs vibrations from the road and muscles, as well as the motion of pedaling, making your time in the saddle much more comfortable.”

It’s a seatpost that delivers a fresh experience: no excess movement when pedaling hard, and no pain or discomfort at the end of a long day of riding. It also helps with weight reduction, making it an optimal upgrade for gravel and mountain bikes. It’s a must-see item for SKLAR owners, especially those riding a Super Something or a Tall Tale. Of course, I recommend it for everyone else too! Be sure to check it out.

Bonus

I’m sure many of you following SKLAR have been keeping an eye on this bike. We expect it to arrive around next spring, and we should be able to share pre-order details soon, so stay tuned!
