Born from listening to the requests of various cyclists, this tire is tubeless compatible and features a tough Zylon material in the bead for 700c sizes to reduce the risk of accidents like sidewall cuts. The original "Peanut" sidewall doesn't just look great on your bike; it’s finished to be incredibly reliable, giving you peace of mind for gravel rides and long-distance touring.

With a file tread in the center and a cedar-grain pattern on the shoulders, this slick tire provides solid grip even when riding on muddy roads after the rain, mossy forest trails, or unexpected gravel sections.

Recommended for everything from long-distance touring and gravel riding to urban commuting. Naturally, many riders have been asking for more "volume"—as the name implies. When I visited the US as SimWorks USA, many cyclists told me, "You should make a wider 700c version!" I personally wanted this size as well, so this is a tire I’ve been eagerly waiting for.

So, I immediately mounted them on my #mycielo and went for a gravel ride. For a CX bike, this volume offers the perfect balance, and honestly, since I had been riding with knobby tires up until now, I was impressed by how smoothly it rolled on pavement despite its 38c width.

I dropped the pressure to ride over some rougher surfaces and drops, and had zero worries about pinch flats or sidewall cuts. The potential is so high that it actually made me consider using these for the Aichi Dairy Farm race (though I was conflicted and ended up using tubular wheels, haha). By the way, the maximum recommended pressure differs between tubeless and tubed setups, but in my personal experience running them with tubes, 2.5–3.0 bar felt like the "sweet spot." Of course, this depends on rider weight and riding style, but it’s a good reference point.

While the WTB Nano 700x40c I introduced recently is also great, the Volummy is highly recommended if you are restricted by frame clearance, don't need a knobby pattern but want a wider tire, or if you're looking for a new set of tires to switch to once cyclocross season ends.

Of course, they are also a perfect match for commuter bikes and daily drivers. Especially for city riding, having this much volume makes for a more comfortable ride, as you don't have to worry about small bumps. We also have 27.5x1.5" / 27.5x1.75" / 700x32c in our lineup, so why not try the size that best fits your bike?
