From the SimWorks by NITTO handlebar lineup, our classic Getaround Bar and the 31.8mm clamp version of the Fun 3 Bar have arrived with a fresh new look, now available in polished silver and black options!
While both the Getaround and Fun 3 have long been part of the SimWorks chromoly handlebar lineup, you might wonder if they’ve simply been converted to aluminum—but that’s not actually the case!
The Getaround Bar: Wider and more modern.
It’s easy to overlook, but did you know that while the chromoly Getaround Bar is 700mm wide, the aluminum version comes in at 750mm? Of course, the balance of the bends, such as the rise and backsweep, remains the same, just with a slightly wider stance.
To begin with, this handlebar provides a neutral and natural position that truly earns the description "exquisite." With the addition of a wider 750mm profile, a 31.8mm clamp, and the lightweight aluminum material, its potential has expanded even further.
Whether for commuters, track bikes, trail bikes, or dirt tourers, this is an all-around overachiever of a handlebar. Personally, I think it works incredibly well when paired with the SKLAR / Super Something shown in the photos—perfect for laid-back cruising, but ready for gravel rides whenever you are. That versatility is exactly what makes this handlebar so great.

Though the chromoly version is gone, the Fun 3 lives on in aluminum.
The Fun 3 Bar is known for its unique look, created by three bends on each side, and the comfortable position it provides. Early models were made from the same aluminum stock that NITTO used for motorcycle handlebars at the time. Once that material ran out, it was revived in chromoly and became a beloved handlebar that captured riders' hearts. Sadly, production of the chromoly version ended in 2021.
However, in response to your requests, the Fun 3 Bar is alive and well, now available in a 31.8mm clamp aluminum version. You can’t get the chromoly Fun 3 anymore, but you can get the aluminum one!
It is also now available in a 750mm width, which wasn't offered in the chromoly version, allowing for assembly on a wider variety of bikes. We have the original 680mm width in stock right now.
Whether for daily rides or touring, it offers a relaxed position, but it’s also great for gravel or light trail use if you’re looking to get a bit dirty. This is the perfect handlebar for those of you constantly seeking out "fun."
