A new addition has arrived for the SimWorks by MKS Bubbly series!
That’s right. We have added the Ezy Superior version to the Tiny Bubbly pedal, a product that has long been requested, particularly by small-wheel bike users.
The Ezy system has a history spanning over 20 years at MKS. The story of its origin—that it was inspired by a gas coupler seen at a yakiniku restaurant—is quite fascinating, so please be sure to read the explanatory article by SimWorks.
The Ezy Superior mechanism, which allows for the easy attachment and removal of the pedals, is obviously at its best when traveling by train (rinko), but since it’s easy to swap pedals if you are using models equipped with the same Ezy Superior system, it also comes in handy for changing pedals to suit your ride or sharing pedals among family members. (In such cases, please make use of the MKS Ezy Superior Adapter.)
Originally developed with folding bikes in mind—a concept born from the unique culture of traveling by train in Japan—the Ezy Superior mechanism is also highly valued in Asia, the West, and beyond as an effective security measure, as it allows users to remove their pedals when parking to prevent bike theft.
The Tiny Bubbly is a size smaller than the Bubbly. While the size of the Bubbly platform is great for all-terrain riding, including dirt paths, the Tiny Bubbly is perfect for road-based city riding and one-day touring. And now that it’s available in the Ezy Superior spec, we especially recommend it to small-wheel bike users.
