【Regarding PAUL components in Black】If you only knew the power of the Matt Black.

As you all know, PAUL COMPONENT is based in Chico, California. Their rugged yet lovable products are created daily in their small factory.
Their components are machined from solid blocks of aluminum and shaped into finished products. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, they have been taking measures to ensure staff safety, such as adjusting work schedules so that personnel from different departments do not overlap as much.

In addition to their many color options, they have long offered a classic, beautifully finished color. Many of you have likely been drawn to their products by the allure of that timeless black finish. The black they produced was a deep, glossy color achieved by polishing the parts before the anodizing process.

Having determined that producing this black finish is currently impossible with their current workload and staffing levels, they have decided to provide a matte black finish instead.

OMG!!!
You mean I can't get that beautiful glossy black anymore!?
I was planning on putting it on my beloved bike!!

Whoa, calm down.
I understand how you feel.
But when I saw that matte PAUL finish the other day, I thought,
"If you only knew the power of the Matte Black!!"
Matte is cool!! This light-absorbing black is awesome!!
It's like the Dark Side!!

So, if you’ve been seduced by the Dark Side with this potentially limited-time Matte Black from PAUL COMPONENT, be sure to check it out soon!

We apologize to those who were looking to complete a build in glossy black, but please wait and see how things develop for a while. PAUL COMPONENT still intends to produce the glossy finish; however, it is difficult to manufacture under these circumstances, and there is no timeline for when it will return.

This is a difficult situation for everyone, but we want to live with a sense of gratitude that products are being made and enjoy the items that become available.
