Nalgene Circles Bottle vol.3 !!!!!

Hello, hi, and greetings! It’s Chan-Mai here. Nalgene bottles have long been a staple for me, as I’ve always loved the outdoors. Their design is simple, yet they have so many uses that I’ve found them lining my kitchen shelves before I even realized it.

I’m sure many of you love "multi-functionality." Adding pockets or gimmicks to make things more convenient is wonderful. But what attracts me is the multi-functionality that is born precisely because it’s simple.

Simple and multi-functional. They may seem contradictory, but I believe that the seeds of multi-functionality are actually packed within simplicity.

We Finally Made a Nalgene Bottle 0.38L

This Circles original Nalgene bottle is already our third release. The one we are finally bringing to you this time is in a minimal 0.38L size.

Actually, this 0.38L size is barely available on the market these days. About three years ago, it was released at the outdoor shop where I used to work, but it was discontinued almost immediately, and I couldn't get my hands on one... Now it's only sold as a coffee bean canister, and "that" bottle I saw back then had become a phantom.

When I heard we could have them custom-made, I decided to include my favorite Circles logo. Combined with the size, it turned out so cute!

Last time, we released the 1.0L version, perfect for staying hydrated, but this bottle is unusually small. However, there are some great uses unique to this size, so let me share my favorites with you.

The Most Classic Use of All: Storing Food

As a use other than a water bottle, this is probably the most common method: a "food canister." People use them for various food items, like coffee beans, nuts, dried fruits, rice for camping (you can even add water to let it soak!), or pre-packaged snacks.

It’s great to carry around a combination of your favorite nuts and dried fruits.

The reasons I recommend it for food storage are simply its "resistance to absorbing odors" and its "airtightness." Since it doesn't retain smells, you can use it for many different things, and it also protects your food from humidity and rain.

When you want to eat a cup of ramen, bring water for boiling in the bottle, and on the way home, put your trash inside! Because of its high airtightness, you can bring home liquid-filled trash or leftover drinks without making a mess. Isn't this just the perfect size for cup ramen? (For those who prefer the "Big" size... I'm sorry, this might be a bit too small.)

Energy Charge! As a "Shaker"

It might feel too small just for carrying water, but it’s perfect as a protein shaker. If you keep the powder inside, all you have to do is add water or milk when you're ready, and because it’s airtight, it won't leak even if you shake it vigorously.

Another point I find great is that the mouth is wide, so you can easily fit in a "blender ball" to keep your protein lump-free! The mouth of the 0.38L bottle is the same size as the 1.0L bottle.

Even for those who don't drink protein, it might be good for corn soup as the weather gets colder. Since it can handle 100°C boiling water, it might be handy if you have a water dispenser at work.

Tea & snacks for a relaxing break

Dual Use: Cold Pack and Hot Water Bottle

It's not just that it can handle 100°C boiling water. The bottle has a heat and cold resistance range of -20°C to 100°C, which is quite wide. This is a trick often used in camping: bring a frozen bottle to use as a cold pack, then use it as a hot water bottle when you sleep. Given the size, this might be just right for indoor use.♪
(Leave the cap off when freezing it, as it will expand!)

As an aside, my favorite way to use its heat resistance is for "atsukan" (hot sake). Just boil some water in a pot and submerge the bottle filled with sake. This was a tip directly from former staff member Kyon-chan.

Whatever the case, it’s versatile

If you store paper and a pen inside, you can even go on a dream sketching ride.

As a bottle, as a canister, or even as a waterproof case for maintenance tools you don't want to get wet, or for first-aid supplies... the possibilities are endless once you start thinking about them.
Being able to use it in so many ways comes down to the high functionality packed into its simplicity. Simple really is powerful, I think.
