Nalgene Circles Bottle!!!

It’s hot, isn’t it! I say that every year, but I feel like it really is getting hotter each year—or perhaps my physical strength is just declining, making me more susceptible to the heat. I suspect it’s a bit of both, but lately, I’ve been paying special attention to staying hydrated.

Staying hydrated is incredibly important! I’m from the generation where we weren't allowed to drink water during club activities, so if I'm not careful, I’ll end up not drinking anything at all and getting a headache. I’m making a conscious effort to hydrate frequently.

You could just buy drinks at a convenience store, but the hassle of buying them every time—plus the waste it creates—makes carrying your own favorite bottle a much better option.

My favorite is a Nalgene bottle with the JOBO Unitank print. It’s a great design where the film development tank label is printed directly onto the Nalgene bottle. It’s irresistible for JOBO users. I carry it around every day. I bought it at a place I personally love, Silversalt.

While I love these kinds of niche designs, this is the one that first made me want a Nalgene in my life.

This is a Nalgene that was sold at Patagonia shops in the U.S. during the 90s to early 2000s. I thought it was incredibly cool, and it was actually the reason I first traveled to America to buy one (I still have about three of them at home).

I don’t think you can find this "Pata-Nalgene" design layout anymore, but it served as the inspiration for our new Circles original Nalgene bottle.

It has the classic 1-liter capacity, which is perfect for daily life, camping, or outings.

Over the last few years, there have been many Nalgene-compatible cages on the market, making it perfect for bikes as well. On rides where there’s no place to refill in the summer, you might even want to carry two of these.

We kept the measurement markings, keeping practicality in mind.

The "For Your Everyday Adventures" tagline is a nice touch, too.

Nalgene is a brand with a wonderful history: they were originally a company in Rochester, New York, that made medical cases, and the way we use them today started because staff members started using them as hiking bottles because they were popular within the company. Even now, it’s a great brand that continues to manufacture medical-grade cases in the U.S.

The lids are sturdy and leak-proof (in my own experience, they’ve never leaked no matter how much I’ve knocked them around), and they are heat and cold resistant from 100°C to -20°C.

Also, being made from medical-grade, low-environmental-impact resin means the bottle doesn't impart any odor to your drinks. It’s a reliable, rugged, and well-made product.

If there’s one drawback, it’s that the mouth is wide, so there’s a risk of spilling water when you take a drink if you’re not careful.

For times like that, there’s this.

If you just pop a GUYOTDESIGNS Splash Guard into the mouth, it’s a great little tool that lets you control exactly how much you drink.

How about getting through the summer with this setup?
