This is my first MONDAYS entry of the year—a bit of a long time coming. It's not that I've been slacking off; I’ve been busy inputting all sorts of ideas, but since you can’t just keep taking things in, I’m putting something out today for a change. And of course, it's about a wonderful bike that recently departed from Circles.
The B-Road model has become such a staple at Circles that it would be no exaggeration to say over half of the people who come to us for BREADWINNER consultations end up looking at it.
Why is this bike chosen so often? Well, one could blame Breadwinner’s craftsmanship, or perhaps our own influence at Circles (personally, I really want everyone to ride fatter tires, and I suppose I’ve been nudging things in that direction, haha). But joking aside, if you want to ride long distances and also handle some rough roads, and you push yourself to find the ultimate bike that can handle all of that, the answer almost always comes back to the B-Road the more you think about it.
That brings us to the Find Your Road Special Edition, a limited-model B-Road we took orders for last autumn.
We are grateful to have received inquiries for this model within Japan as well, and we successfully delivered it to its new owner the other day.
With clearance for tires up to 48mm wide and the incorporation of the new ENVE G-Series gravel fork, which makes installing fenders in the future easy, this bike is truly finished as an all-road machine.
To match the special paint scheme unique to this limited model, the build is perfect, featuring CHRIS KING components in Matte Turquoise, of course. For tires, we went with the WTB / Nano TCS Light 700x40c, a classic combo I personally recommend for the B-Road. For the drive, we chose a SRAM Force 1 base with hydraulic disc brakes to ensure the owner can enjoy gravel riding aggressively—there are no blind spots here.

The owner, who came all the way from Tochigi for the consultation, had been primarily focused on road cycling. Since getting their B-Road, however, they seem to be enjoying taking their rides onto the unpaved paths that lay beyond the roads they used to frequent.
Naturally, they’ve come to love this bike—not only because it fits their body and offers a comfortable ride, but also because it is rugged enough to handle unpaved terrain while remaining powerful and agile. They seem to be spending their time looking at maps in anticipation of the weekend, planning all sorts of new rides.
