Hello, hi, and greetings! It’s Chan-Mai!
MINIMALIGHT’s popular item, the "PLAY WALLET." It’s a piece I’ve personally loved for a long time, designed with the goal of being the "smallest and most convenient wallet." Despite its compact size, it securely holds everything you need—cards, coins, and bills—and it’s a masterpiece that many say makes it impossible to go back to a regular wallet once you’ve used it.

If you attach a carabiner to the drawcord, you can quickly hook it onto your belt or backpack, and its compact size lets it slide easily into your gear for rides or travel. Thanks to this usability, many people use it as a second wallet specifically for their activities.

And late last year, we had the opportunity to create a custom version of this PLAY WALLET for Circles.

Now that the POPUP held in Tokyo recently has concluded, we are finally ready to deliver them to customers nationwide! So, we’ve started sales on our WEB SHOP as well 🚩 Quantities are limited, so be sure to get yours soon.
Circles Original Play Wallet Leather
We thought if we were going to make a custom model, we wanted it to be something that could be used for a long time in many different situations, so this time we went with a leather specification. We aimed for a finish that outdoor and cycling enthusiasts could use freely in both their daily lives and out in the field.
The leather used is "RUGATO," a vegetable-tanned shoulder leather from the long-established Belgian tannery, MASURE. It is characterized by the rich, expressive wrinkle pattern unique to shoulder leather, known as "tiger stripes," and a textured depth that combines luster with translucency. Since it’s a material that develops a deeper sheen the more you use it, you can enjoy the aging process as you "raise" it over time♪
It comes in two colors: Wine Red and Deep Green, inspired by Circles’ corporate colors. We had them finished in slightly subdued tones to match the elegant atmosphere of the RUGATO leather. We also subtly included the Circles "C" mark on the inside—it's not too flashy, but it’s tucked away in just the right balance to serve as a "mark of the fellowship."

Whether you're in the outdoors, around town, or in the middle of a ride.
I think this has become a wallet that, while small, is truly reliable.
Please be sure to stop by the shop and hold one in your hands.
