Giro x Vibram

At Circles, Giro items have been very well-received this season.
They’re stylish and, of course, they offer great quality, but the real key is their extensive selection of mid-range gear.

In short, they offer items with a great balance.
For instance, when you start with what’s called an entry-level model, you eventually wear it out, put it through its paces, and start wanting something new. When that happens, everyone wants something better than what they had before.
At that point, people often tend to choose high-performance gear with more specs than they actually need.

While it’s natural to want something good, you often don't actually need excessive specs.
When you go looking for something to fill that gap, you’ll find that there are surprisingly few options that hit the sweet spot.

Amidst all that, Giro offers a wealth of "just right" items, such as the “Aspect” and their apparel line.

The “Privateer,” which arrived a little while ago with a fantastic black body and gum sole, was one of those perfect items.

It was very popular and sizes were running low, so I thought we wouldn't see it again until after summer, but we received an unexpected restock.
It’s perfect timing as the weather warms up, and since so many people had their eyes on it, it’s proving to be very popular again.

And this time, we’ve also received a very small quantity of another shoe I’ve been curious about for a long time.

Terraduro / Black

Unlike many other MTB clipless shoes, the highlight of this model is its use of a Vibram rubber outsole.

It makes walking easier when off the bike, and provides better grip on wet rocks and logs.
The toes are reinforced, and the side fabric is made of a more durable material.

While I think standard soles are better for things like cyclocross races, these will certainly come in handy for trail rides and touring.

And on top of that, they look great, too.
There’s no way you won't be excited about these!

The “Privateer” and “Terraduro” are both stylish, functional, and well-balanced clipless shoes.
Please come by and try them on!
