I'm sure many of you were captivated by their stunning, high-sense paintwork. Thankfully, one of them has already found a new home.
Black Cat Bicycles Disc Racer “Psychokinesis”
Customer K, who chose a disc road bike as his very first road racer. He was already familiar with handling disc brakes from bike polo, which helped with his decision. Or rather, since it was this cool and the size was a perfect fit, he made a snap decision—the kind where you just go for it and see where it takes you. After all, the lead time for a custom order is two years.
The build is based on an 11-speed Ultegra groupset, with a selection of practical and robust parts.
For the wheels, he wanted to be the first to try out the Chris King R45 Disc hubs, so we paired them with HED Belgium rims and chose Continental Grand Prix 4-Season 700-28c tires. With this setup, he can enjoy riding on unpaved roads without a second thought. The frame offers excellent stability, and combined with the Wound Up fork, it provides handling that inspires confidence even on rougher terrain.
By the way, it seems the owner of a certain EB shop is plotting something too...
