Squamish, British Columbia is located about an hour's drive from Vancouver, one of Canada's major cities.

Where the ocean meets the mountains, this region is overflowing with the kind of premier activity field everyone envies. Its towering mountains welcome not only climbers and hikers, but also cyclists, who are treated to an immense number of trails. 7MESH is a cycling apparel brand based in this nature-rich Squamish. Their products, which feature superior functionality born from rigorous testing in harsh environments, are created by the best team—people who truly understand the unforgiving terrain of the mountains, including Tyler Jordan, a founding member of ARC’TERYX, which was also born in Squamish.

They target cyclists in the broadest sense without categorization, and it is fair to say these are the best cycling garments available, with functionality pursued to the maximum through unique technology and ideas.

【7MESH】Ashlu Merino Jersey
¥19,000_(tax excluded)
COLOR : Carmine Red, Cadet Blue, Ash
MATERIAL : MerinoWool 89%、NylonKnit 11%
The Ashlu Merino Jersey is a modernization of the classic wool jersey, utilizing a hybrid material of asymmetrical stretch nylon—called Ashlu Pair—and smooth 17.5-micron merino wool. It provides every cyclist with the flexibility and quick-drying properties of nylon, combined with the excellent thermoregulation and odor resistance of wool. Furthermore, its soft texture and smooth feel against the skin provide exceptional comfort even during rides in the high humidity of a Japanese midsummer.
And like all other 7MESH jerseys, the Ashlu Merino Jersey features a riding fit that makes full use of ergonomic 3D patterning.
For cyclists who want to experience the comfort of merino wool even in midsummer, I recommend this Ashlu Merino Jersey without hesitation.

【7MESH】Highline Ultralight Jersey
¥23,000_(tax excluded)
COLOR : Pewter
MATERIAL : Nylon 78%、Elastin 22%
The Highline Ultralight Jersey is the answer from 7MESH to the most stoic cyclists who refuse to compromise on speed and lightness. Through 3D patterning and adhesive seam tape, it achieves the ultimate fit and reduced air resistance. Additionally, both the fabric and seam tape used are highly elastic, offering superior responsiveness to body movement.
By applying a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment to the fabric, it can withstand light rain while also being quick-drying. Furthermore, by wicking sweat away from the body quickly rather than letting it sit in the fabric, it keeps the rider dry.
This is a jersey I would love for cyclists seeking a lightweight, thin, and highly functional cycling jersey to try.

【7MESH】MK2 Bib Short
¥19,000_(tax excluded)
COLOR : Black
MATERIAL : Miti Alpha (DWR-finished polyester mesh)
The MK2 Bib Short utilizes an elastomeric warp-knit nylon that boasts excellent stretch, recovery, and high durability. The interior grid surface that touches the skin is highly absorbent, ensuring sweat does not remain trapped inside the garment. Meticulous ergonomic patterning minimizes the fabric seams used in traditional bib shorts, resulting in a design that naturally fits the body. By minimizing seams, friction and resistance are reduced, providing a superior fit.
On the inside, a knit liner suspended like a hammock creates space between the chamois and the main body of the shorts, allowing the chamois to fit the body independently. (While the construction is different, it is based on the same theory as the ASSOS products I introduced the other day.) Furthermore, since the high-density chamois by Elastic Interface is bonded to the knit liner, there are no stitches on the inside or outside of the shorts. By eliminating the stitches that would normally be exposed, they prevent fraying at the seam between the chamois and the shorts, thereby extending the life of the shorts themselves. Additionally, a special non-silicone gripper is used on the leg hem, which prevents skin irritation from silicone during long rides and reduces the burden on the skin.
The MK2 Bib Short has a level of perfection that rivals the ASSOS/Mile Short I introduced recently. This is undoubtedly a piece that will satisfy a wide range of cyclists.
Please try them on to decide which you prefer. I would be more than happy to help you weigh your options.
Spring/summer apparel is arriving at the shop one after another.
This is the season when you can't help but want to head out for a ride on your days off. Please be sure to stop by on your way to work or school, or of course, during your ride, to check out the many items available.
This is a photo from a ride I went on with the owner of Ariva the other day.
Even if it's not quite Squamish, there are plenty of wonderful routes in the mountains of Toyota as well.
