It’s been a while!
It’s Yoshi here, and it’s already been two months since I left for Tokyo!
I still can’t say I’m fully settled into life in Tokyo, but I’ve been finding little pockets of time and places to go for a run. In the midst of all the hustle and bustle, I went to an event last weekend.
That’s right—Off The Grid! It’s Japan’s largest outdoor trade show, bringing together manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. What makes it special is that the people who make the products and share the stories can present directly to end users.
It was my first time attending, and I was already amazed on the morning of day one. I’d heard there would be a line, but the crowds were beyond anything I’d imagined—people everywhere!
Hundreds of outdoor enthusiasts waited eagerly for the doors to open. The passion everyone had for the outdoors was palpable, and I was blown away over the course of the two-day event.
Circles also had a booth, featuring items you don’t often get to see in the Kanto area and the products we find most exciting! Among them, one item in particular was a hit with our discerning customers:
