What is JCMC?
On Saturday, November 19, 2022, the "JCMC" (Japan Cycle Messenger Championship) will be held at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse & Park in Kanagawa Prefecture.
I’d like to take a moment to explain what this event, known as “JCMC,” is all about!
After reading this, please make time in your schedule and come join us in Yokohama.
JCMC is an urban bike festival hosted by "messengers"—who complete all kinds of urban deliveries at top speed—alongside bicycle and local culture. It’s an event featuring various races, sub-events, and a wide array of vendors.
The main races include a delivery race to determine the fastest messenger in Japan, as well as cargo bike and criterium races. Besides those, we’ll also have a bicycle school for kids and markets and food that everyone can enjoy. We’d be happy if you could come by for some sightseeing—even if you show up empty-handed—and share this "place of fun" with us!

There are still spots available for the Delivery Race and Cargo Bike Race, which are the main events of "JCMC." So why not bring your favorite bike, enjoy the day with real messengers, and zip around the Red Brick Warehouse grounds? By the way, the Circles staff will also be participating in the delivery race.
As for YOKOHAMA CRIT, entries are already closed. For those who missed out, don't worry—sfiDARE CRIT JAPAN isn't going anywhere, so please look forward to the next race event.
Since it's a night race starting at 6 PM, why not watch the YOKOHAMA CRIT up close?
Uno-chan will also be competing, so please make sure to cheer him on with plenty of love!
Joint Booth: Circles × SimWorks × Culture Club!
Circles, SimWorks, and Culture Club will be running a joint booth! There will also be a SimWorks checkpoint in the delivery race, so participants: please be careful not to make any delivery errors! (Sweat)
This messenger event was originally planned to be held three years ago, but it was significantly delayed due to the impact of COVID-19. Still, keeping our spirits connected and finally reaching this point is a massive achievement, and it’s made us realize once again that we want to dedicate ourselves to maintaining and developing the strength of this industry.
Since we are standing on the stage of JCMC 2022 Yokohama, we hope to communicate with as many visitors as possible and conduct some promotional activities, while also promising to enjoy ourselves to the fullest. Please make sure to come visit the Circles booth!
Additionally, the big world championship event, CMWC, will be held in Yokohama next year. We hope to work together with the event staff and attendees to make this precursor event a huge success!
