【Circles Tokyo】 Akigase Gravel Ride with ARAKAWA OUTBACK, Sunday, July 13th - The Revenge!!

Although the previous Akigase Gravel Ride filled up at the fastest pace in our history immediately after it was announced, we had to cancel it with a heavy heart due to bad weather.

I was personally really looking forward to it, so I’m incredibly disappointed... I really want to make this happen, so please let us have a do-over!!

Akigase Gravel Ride with ARAKAWA OUTBACK

With the cooperation of Kako-san, who organizes #ArakawaOutback, we are holding a RIDE that will let you fully enjoy the Arakawa gravel.

The ride starts and ends at Akigase Park, covering a total of about 50 km.
There are no restrictions on the type of bike, but since it includes unpaved roads, I recommend using wider, fast-rolling tires.

Here is a comment from Kako-san:

This ride starts and ends at Akigase Park and covers about 50 km.
There are no long climbs, but it isn’t just paved roads, either.

We’ll be waiting for you in the colorful Arakawa area.
The bugs are also quite lively, so please keep that in mind when joining us.

#ArakawaOutback

I previously participated in BIKE to Ashiori Amagoi and rode the route that Kako-san led. It was an endless stretch of prime gravel—in a word, a fantastic route—but it was also a ride that left me with a strange, indescribable feeling.

You start and finish in the same spot, riding about 60 km including gravel, only to return to where you began. Throughout the journey, you never ride the same path or see the same scenery, and the strange feeling of wondering "Where on earth am I riding?" is something I've never experienced on any other ride.

How do you even string such roads together?
I hope to enjoy that mysterious experience with all of you on the day.

POC Helmet Trial Session Also Available

The POC POPUP is being held from 7/11 (Fri) - 7/18 (Fri)

Thanks to the kindness of the brand representative, we will be able to borrow helmets for this RIDE event!

POC provides high-quality products, holding patents for material combinations and structures designed to achieve overwhelming lightness and ventilation, top-tier protection, and maximum performance.

We have a limited number available, but we will rent them to customers who are interested.
(We have both M and S sizes available. Please let us know if you would like to use one.)

It's a rare opportunity to experience the ventilation and lightweight feel during an actual ride. Please be sure to give them a try.
