【RAWLOW MOUNTAIN WORKS】New Beetle colors have arrived!

Hello. February has arrived, and it has suddenly become quite cold. At the end of January, I went ice climbing in Norikura. Usually, the waterfalls there are frozen solid, but because it’s been warm this year, they weren't frozen much and the ice was very thin. In some spots, you even get showered by waterfall spray. Still, I fully enjoyed my first ice climbing of the year.

That was when I used the RAWLOW MOUNTAIN WORKS Antelope for the first time. It's a size that works for day trips with lots of climbing gear, or even for tent stays if you pack light. While it has great attention to detail, it is also very simple and lightweight—definitely an item I want to use heavily from now on.

RAWLOW MOUNTAIN WORKS offers three types of backpacks, and the smallest among them—perfect for day hikes and mountain biking—is the Beetle. The Beetle has now arrived in some cool new colors, so I’d like to introduce them to you.

The Beetle is a lightweight, compact 18L backpack weighing only 350g. It’s the perfect size for day hikes, rides, or mountain bike trail riding. When you actually put it on, it fits better than expected, staying secure even when your body moves. Another highlight is the mesh side pockets, which make it easy to grab your water bottle.

– A beautiful silhouette

It also holds its shape well, maintaining a clean silhouette even when not fully packed. The main opening can be opened wide, making it easy to find and reach your gear inside. You can also quickly tuck a jacket you’ve taken off under the rain lid.

– Combine with Nuts Pack

When heading out for a hike, people often combine their backpack with a waist pouch, sacoche, or camera bag, but don't you find it annoying dealing with all those straps?

I really dislike that, which is why I stopped using sacoches and waist pouches. However, with the Beetle, you can attach the Nuts Pack directly to the waist harness, freeing you from the hassle of extra straps.

The attachment method is simple: just remove the Nuts Pack strap and connect it to the joints on the Beetle’s harness.

For some reason, Kodama-kun looks a bit nerdy in these photos, but this is a backpack that can definitely be used for real outdoor activities.

Of course, it’s not just for the outdoors—it’s a bag I want you to use for daily life as well. Please stop by the shop and experience the fit for yourself.
