The rise in temperature last weekend felt just like summer. The sun was strong, and the air was humid enough to make you slowly work up a sweat. Unable to bear it, many customers visited the shop looking for items to prepare for the upcoming hot season.

However, just because they are sandals doesn't mean your feet won't sweat. If you are near water, you can refresh your sweaty feet, but such situations are rare in daily life, and by the end of the day, the soles of your feet can feel quite uncomfortable. So, how can you stay comfortable? The answer is simple: just wear socks, just as you would with shoes. Doing so will keep you comfortable all day long.
With that in mind, we created RAL / Tabby Light, thin tabi-style socks made from merino wool, which offers excellent moisture-wicking, quick-drying, and odor-resistant properties.

The Tabby Light is a tabi-style sock made primarily of merino wool, designed to keep you comfortable even in hot weather. Its high moisture absorption effectively wicks away sweat, while its antibacterial properties—which provide odor resistance—are essential during this sweaty time of year. We used a mesh knit on the instep for breathability and blended in reinforced fibers at the toes, the balls of the feet, and the heels to increase durability. Because of this, the area circling from the ball of the foot to the instep is a flat knit rather than mesh.
Although some sizes and colors are currently out of stock, we highly recommend trying these socks out this season. Of course, you can experience their excellent comfort even outside of summer, or when wearing regular shoes.
By the way, as mentioned earlier, Tabby Light has a very high merino wool content, so it will shrink more than regular socks after being worn for a long time. For this reason, you might want to choose one size larger than your usual fit.
