Yesterday I took my cross bike out to the mountains for the first time in a while.
Last week's snow was still lying thick on the ground.
I got a bit too excited and ventured onto a forest road where cars don't go, and ended up burying my wheels up to the calves (if that's a good way to put it).
In no time at all, I had myself a Chris King Snow Hub...
There was a lot of snow this morning, wasn't there? It’s turned completely to rain here in Nagoya, but please be careful underfoot.
On snowy days, the Circles staff commute by CX or MTB. I arrived still pumped from yesterday's fun, only to find everyone calmly shoveling snow, which made me feel a bit guilty.
Speaking of snow, fat bikes are definitely the most fun. JUS was commuting on his Krampus the other day too. If you’re interested, please feel free to ask us about them.
By the way, for those of you who already ride a fat bike, how are you storing it?
Some of you might just be leaning it against the wall. We just got some convenient racks in today for exactly that.
It’s a simple stand that you just slide your tire into.
It accommodates tire widths from 3.8″ to 5″. It’s simple to assemble with just a few bolts, and can be adjusted to three different widths. Its simplicity is great because it won’t be in the way even if you keep it in your room.
This is the standard type, which can be used for any bike model. It’s built sturdily out of steel, so there’s no need to worry about it tipping over.
By the way, you can also link them together. (Requires optional parts. Sorry, these are currently out of stock.)
If you’ve been looking for something like this, why not add these to your list of options? We use them for our store displays, so you can check them out in person!
