Circles has been around for 8 years now.
Although I’ve only been caught up in this whirlwind for a little over a year, it has been a year I will never forget for the rest of my life.
In the spring, I traveled towards Kyushu, and at the end of summer, we all went on an adventure for "RIDEALIVE 2014." We also flooded the streets of downtown Nagoya with bicycles for the "Greater Nagoya Bicycle Culture Exhibition."
And for the Circles 8th Anniversary event, "Join the Circle," coming up this weekend, I want us all to have a blast as we express our gratitude to everyone who has supported us!
So, this is a report on the morning "Join the Circle Ride," for which details were delayed! The ride I will be attending is a relaxed, roughly 40km ride.
It’s just a casual potter, stepping out of the Nagoya city center a little to go grab some delicious food.
We’ll be riding and eating while enjoying some relaxed conversation. I hope you’ll feel free to come in whatever casual attire you like.
Our destination is "Kasugaibar & Home Roast Coffee" in Kasugai City. The owner is a cyclist themselves, and it’s also a place where our staff member, JUS, is a regular. He often visits at night to chat about bikes over a glass of wine.
They are preparing a delicious lunch for us on the day.
Depending on the number of participants, I’m planning to have another group join in and split into two teams. Please look forward to that as well!
And now for the 80km course.
We’ll be riding to Owari Seto, a familiar spot for CRC members and a place we staff often visit on our days off.
This ride will be led by staff member Shige. It’s a rewarding route that mixes on-road and gravel segments.
Also, Rick, who showed us some powerful riding at the Nobeyama Cyclocross the other day, will be joining us too!If you would like to participate, please be sure to contact us here!
We’ll be waiting for you at Heiwa Park at 8:00 AM on December 6th!
