【CIRCLES BOOKS】

This is JUS.
Believe it or not, I love movies and books. Seriously! I’ll say it again! Believe it or not, I love movies and books. I especially love movies; I probably watch over 200 a year. I watch my favorite titles over and over, laughing, crying, and learning from them.

However, despite my love for film, to be honest, I'm not a fan of movie theaters. I get distracted. If there are people around me, I just can't help but notice them. I can't focus on the film. That’s why I believe movies are meant to be watched at home on DVD, either alone or with my wife, in a relaxed setting. After all, you can pause them, and if you miss something or see a part that catches your interest, you can just rewind it.

When I tell my boss this, he says, "That’s exactly why you’re no good at bowling, JUS!!"

That's right, when I'm bowling, I can't help but get distracted by people throwing in the next lane. It’s even worse if my throwing timing overlaps with someone else's; then I’m completely finished. Out. If someone enters my field of vision while I'm throwing, I lose focus. I can't make a good shot at all. I need at least one empty lane on both my left and right to stay focused...

So, when I go to the bowling alley, if it's empty, I think, "I've got this today." If it's crowded, I think, "No luck today." My game is decided before I even worry about oil conditions or anything like that. To train that lack of focus, I head to the bowling alley again today.

Every Tuesday from 9:30 PM at Brunswick Sport Nagoya. The Circles Bowling Club is always waiting for you!

Anyway, I've veered way off topic, but as I mentioned at the beginning, since I’m a fan of movies and books, we have a book corner on the wall next to the cash register on the first floor of Circles.

Recommended books are placed next to the register with descriptions.

My favorite reading material is "mountain flyer." I have almost all of them at home.

Since it's an English magazine, I do my best to read it, but there are so many photos that just looking at them gets me excited.

Speaking of things that get me excited with photos, there’s this: "THE GRAND TOUR COOKBOOK"

This is the latest updated version of The Grand Tour Cookbook, originally published in Danish in 2013 by the world-renowned chef Hannah Grant, who served as head chef for the Danish professional road racing team "Tinkoff-Saxo" during the Tour de France. It features dishes designed around the nutritional needs of athletes like cyclists, runners, and triathletes, and also introduces gluten-free and allergy-friendly recipes.

So, we’ve also stocked our Circles Web Shop with a great selection of books, so please take a look!

Whether in-store or online, please check out our little bookstore, Circles Book’s!
