I am a person who could be described as the definition of indecisive; I agonize over everything I do, and it often takes me a long time to make decisions. That said, there are also times when I just let momentum take the wheel and act on impulse. When it came to buying BEDROCK SANDALS, it was the latter, and I actually own every single model and continue to wear them all.
Today, I’d like to offer some advice to those of you who want to try BEDROCK SANDALS but are struggling because you don’t know which model to choose.

For those who want one pair to do it all
First off, for those who want a single pair that allows you to comfortably enjoy every activity, from hiking and trail running to cycling, I recommend the Cairn 3D Pro. While open-toed, they hold your feet securely and offer excellent cushioning; they are the best sandals Bedrock has to offer at this moment.

When I first put them on, I was bothered by the footbed’s arch support and the three raised sections extending from the toe post, but as I continued to wear them, I realized that this shape creates an even greater sense of unity between the sandal and the foot. Also, the midsole, which is thicker than in other models, provides cushioning that prevents you from feeling tired even after wearing them all day long. However, I cannot recommend them to those who have flat feet or very low arches. The support arch will forcibly press into your arch, which will lead to discomfort or pain. For those people, please choose the Classic or Cairn Pro.
For those who want to strip away excess features and seek a barefoot-like experience
For those who want to tackle trail running or hiking in conditions as close to barefoot as possible, and who want to tap into their human potential without relying on anything else, I recommend the Classic.

As they are the lightest and most portable in the lineup, they are also recommended for those who want to use them at their destination—like at a campsite after a hike or during touring—or simply want to wear them while relaxing. Because they have a simple shape that follows the tradition of huarache sandals, some people are drawn to them just for their clean, sleek look.
For those who need a balance of functionality and portability
For those who prefer a barefoot feel and don’t need the footbed support, but still require a sole with strong, excellent holding power and grip capable of handling various conditions, I recommend the Cairn Pro.

You could think of this as the model positioned right between the Cairn 3D Pro and the Classic. And as I mentioned earlier, this is also a recommended pair for those with flat feet or low arches.
Surprising weight differences
Also, although I don’t usually pay much attention to weight, I weighed them for the sake of portability. These figures are for size M’s8/W’s9: Classic / 247g, Cairn Pro / 431g, Cairn 3D Pro / 542g. It is no surprise that the Classic is the lightest, but I was surprised that there was a difference of over 100g between the Cairn Pro and the Cairn 3D Pro. It might be worth choosing the Cairn Pro when considering the balance between usage versatility and weight.
The high reliability of Megagrip
By the way, for our selection this season, we have limited the Cairn series to the Pro models that utilize the Vibram® Megagrip sole. This is because they excel in every aspect: superior durability that keeps the soles from wearing down, grip that allows you to stand firmly on any surface—whether it’s wet rocks or muddy soil—and sole hardness that resists poking from twigs or sharp rock corners. I have continued to compare them all, and I feel this firsthand.

I’ve shared a lot in hopes that it would provide some advice, but it may have left some of you feeling even more conflicted. If that’s the case, please choose the Cairn 3D Pro. As I said before, they are the best sandals Bedrock has to offer right now; you cannot go wrong with that choice.
