We want to expand the circle of human connection and build a better society. That is the meaning embedded in the name Circles. That circle has been expanding more and more over the past few years, thanks to the various manufacturers we have started carrying in the store and the many people who have collaborated on the events we organize. Of course, the RIDEALIVE in Yamanashi we are holding starting tomorrow was only made possible through the help of so many people.
That circle grows as people call out to others, but there are individuals at every step who provide the great impetus to make it expand suddenly and significantly. One of them is ALL YOURS, with whom we work on projects like RAL meets DEEPERS’WEAR, and their representative, Mr. Kimura. He is truly one of the people who has provided such a big impetus over the last few years. The title "LIFE SPEC Evangelist" is well-deserved.
We are hosting an ALL YOURS POP UP STORE for three days next weekend, from Friday, September 28th to Sunday, September 30th, inviting Mr. Kimura for the first time in a long while.
The highlights of this pop-up are these two things!!!
Both are projects currently seeking "accomplices" on CAMPFIRE.
Goodbye Jeans!! All Yours' "Jeans Evolution Theory"
This is a try-on and pre-order event for the PANSY PANT and PANSY JACKET, which ALL YOURS is currently crowdfunding. This project, with its catchy slogan "Goodbye Jeans," is striking. Designed based on what jeans would look like if made with modern technology—since almost everyone has worn a pair at least once in their life—the "Pansy" line was born. Despite being made of synthetic fibers, they have the look and feel of natural fibers, while also possessing excellent quick-drying properties and stretch. You could call them the jeans version of their signature Fast Pass Baker, and they are perfect for cycling as well as daily life and various activities. We have all sizes available, so you can try them on and see for yourself.
And the other is a project that Mr. Kimura launched personally, not as ALL YOURS.
Using everything without waste. We want to create cups and drip pots using discarded coffee beans!
This project is not part of the 24-month consecutive crowdfunding that ALL YOURS has been running, but one that Mr. Kimura started because he personally wanted to support it. It features cups and drip pots made using discarded coffee beans, planned by Mr. Matsuba of IFNi ROASTING & CO—a Shizuoka-based business that roasts, sells, wholesales, and develops original coffee equipment—and Mr. Oe, a potter based in Toki who loves outdoor activities like fishing and cycling. The idea was born when Mr. Matsuba expressed a desire to make full use of beans that arrived from far-off lands (a desire fueled by his commitment to coffee flavor), and his long-time friend Mr. Oe suggested using them as the final glaze for ceramic firing. You will be able to hold the actual products and check their texture.
By the way, both of these individuals actually have deep ties to us as well. When we released the RAL by DEEPER’S WEAR Kiteteco Coffee Dyed this season, Mr. Matsuba of IFNi ROASTING & CO was the one who dyed these Kiteteco garments. Dyeing with coffee beans is one of the initiatives we started out of a desire to make the most of discarded beans, just like these cups and drip pots.
We also use Mr. Oe's work at our sister store, Pine Fields Market. Furthermore, at the Hedgehog Diner, as a member of the ESCAPE Shouten held in the spring, he helped liven things up with a gachapon machine that only had "winners" (putting in a coin would get you one of Mr. Oe's creations), so he is a very familiar presence to us.
Also, these cups and drip pots were made with the hope that many people would use them; Mr. Oe created the master mold, and by commissioning a mass-production manufacturer to produce them, they have become accessible and very easy to use for everyone.
Of course, we also have a wide variety of sizes and colors in the standard DEEPER’S WEAR lineup, such as the High Kick Jeans, Fast Pass Baker, and One Swing Parka, so you will be able to check out a variety of products.
