I’ve been playing futsal with everyone again lately. Getting back into it has been a struggle, grappling with the gap between my idealized past self and my currently out-of-shape body, but we’re having a blast enjoying the simple fun of playing sports together. It’s better to have fun than to worry about whether you’re good or bad at it.
I knew there was an interesting futsal team around Tokyo packed with characters called "ESCAPE." It all started when I talked to Teppei-san from the traveling greengrocer "Micotoya" late last year.
"We're going on an expedition to Nagoya, let's have a futsal match."
"Let's do it. And then, have everyone set up a shop at Hedgeho the next day!!"
The name for that shop is "ESCAPE Shoten."
Each member will use their own line of work to open a one-day-only, one-of-a-kind fun shop. Honestly, I don't know exactly what will happen until the day comes. The starting lineup I know of right now is already attractive enough, but I think the number of people will increase by the day of the event! (lol)

It’s a lineup that those in the know will appreciate, but regardless, a group of truly interesting people are coming all the way from Tokyo to hang out in Nagoya.
The list of attractions is endless: you can eat "Pad Thai" from Micotoya, "Monosugoi Saba" (the brand mackerel), "Hamburgers" from Burger Mania, try your luck at a "Gachapon" filled with only winners from a ceramic artist, buy sneakers from "Moonstar," purchase goods from Chalkboy, meet the folks from NERU who sell kudzu, and check out the denim manufacturer "EVERY DENIM." There are others coming too, but I haven't quite grasped the full scope yet. lol. There are about 12 of them in total.
Yes, this mysterious, one-day-only shop is coming to the night-time persona of Earlybirds, "Hedgehog Diner."
The insanely heated night we had recently when Tokyo Taiwan came was amazing, but this day is going to be something else too...
It’s a rare chance to see this group together, so please come by.
I’m also putting everything I have into the futsal match the day before so I don't lose that either.
