Improving a tire with proven performance is hard work, but it is one of the most important things humans have done since time immemorial. The new Trail Bosses have a reworked tread pattern that is more aggressive to accommodate the recent increase in air volumE Considerably larger knobs and wider spacing between them provide excellent grip on loose or wet surfaces. And the large, auxiliary side knobs are quite edgy, biting deep into the ground even under momentary braking.
Although the Trail Boss is favored by many mountain bikers as a rear tire, the new and improved Trail Boss also offers unparalleled traction for front use, from hardpack trails to roots to rain.
The Trail Boss has also been deeply focused on endurance performance, including sidecut, and this performance has been further refined in the new version.
Dual DNA
The tread is the perfect mix of efficiency, traction, and durability.
The centerline tread features a harder rubber compound that boasts faster rolling and improved durability, while the side knobs are made up of softer, low rebound rubber for improved control and grip.
It is constructed differently at points where speed and traction are required.
SG2 PUNCTURE PROTECTION
SG2 is a lightweight nylon layer that protects all parts of the tire to prevent punctures and rim-bump punctures.
Between bead to bead, SG2 reduces weight gain and improves sidewall stability and overall tire support.
The nylon fibers in SG2 use less rubber to fill the fiber gaps than conventional protective layers.
The increased fiber to rubber ratio improves puncture resistance, while also making the tire lighter and more supple than a tough casing.
SG2 has been shown to provide 80% more sidewall protection when compared to tires equipped with SG2.

- 梱包の都合上、いくつかのパーツを外した状態でお送り致します。最寄りの自転車店様にて組み付け作業をご依頼することを強くお勧めいたします。

カスタム・ストックホイールの配送
