The Mean Jean is a cyclocross racer model compatible with both single-speed and geared drivetrains. That's the simple purpose of this bike. Since there's no longer a need to use a cyclocross bike as a gravel bike, the Mean Jean is designed with aggressive race geometry.

With a BB height of 66mm, which is slightly higher, and a short rear end of 415mm, this bike can accommodate tires up to 44mm wide on the rear. It offers excellent control on trails and, unlike gravel bikes that prioritize stability when descending gravel roads at speeds of 35mph (approximately 56km/h), it enables a more agile and aggressive riding style. Surprisingly, this short wheelbase and aggressive handling can be the ideal "gravel bike" for some riders.

With two bottle cage mounts, no fenders or racks, it's very simple. It can go anywhere, but its functionality and simplicity reflect the bike's purpose. Even in such a simple model, the Mean Jean features a dynamo wiring routing built into the fork thanks to the mold design of the carbon fork. A welcome feature for those who enjoy nighttime adventures.

This Waypoint Fork is designed for the Mean Jean, with rack and fender eyelets removed, but it still features internal routing for brake wires and hub dynamo wiring.
