ROCK LOBSTER CYCLES is based in Santa Cruz, California.

As a handmade bike brand helmed by frame builder Paul Sadoff, it has captivated countless cyclists for many years.

With this Circles Tailored project, we have built that Rock Lobster into a complete bike.

The appeal of this frame goes beyond its slim, beautiful silhouette crafted from 7005 aluminum.

It features geometry meticulously thought out for a rewarding road riding experience, the nimble feel unique to rim brakes, and a simple structure built to last.

None of this is the result of chasing modern trends; it is a machine that cherishes the essence of "what a road bike is."

Our goal was to create a complete build that allows you to feel the charm of this frame in its purest form.

We chose THOMSON for the handlebar, stem, and seatpost.

We selected CHRIS KING for the headset, bottom bracket, and hubs.

And for the rims, we used HED Belgium.

These are all staples that have been loved for years, even decades.

Reliability over flashiness.

Durability, not just lightweight.

Something you can live with for a long time, rather than just following a fad.

We chose these parts with those values in mind.

Combined with the SHIMANO ULTEGRA R8000 series components, we have finished this as a well-balanced bike that will provide a delightful ride, from daily commutes to long weekend outings.
