Description
I feel like a Parisian! A handlebar with just the right amount of rise, flare, and handlebar width without being overdone.
VELO ORANGE recreates classic parts for randonneurs, touring bikes, and commuters for use in the modern age. VELO ORANGE produces a variety of original parts to show that riding fast is not the only way to enjoy bicycles.
The left-bank handlebar is inspired by traditional French commuter bike handlebars and is 42cm wide and slightly narrower to avoid catching on café tables or Citroen rearview mirrors on the narrow streets of Montmartre.
The handlebars are classically styled to give you a relaxed position with your upper body up when combined with the short stem.
The left bank refers to the left bank of a river when looking downstream.
It is especially famous on the left bank of the Seine River in Paris, France.
As an area of literature and artists, "the Left Bank of Paris" evokes an image of a fashionable and cultural area, hence the name of this handle.
