Inspired by Syncros and Suntour chainrings from that era, TOO TIRED CYCLES presents the Flipslide.
It features a Narrow-Wide profile compatible with modern 1x drivetrains, while supporting 94mm and 110mm BCDs to fit classic 5-arm cranks.Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a deep, metallic hard anodized coating, it evokes the atmosphere of the ’90s.
And the “FLIPSIDE”—which gives this chainring its name—is its standout feature.
Its reversible design lets you enjoy different designs on the front and back, and by flipping it over during installation, you can adjust the chainline by ±1.5mm. This allows for fine-tuning of the chainline—a common issue when converting classic 3× cranksets to 1× setups—simply by flipping the chainring.
The lineup includes 36T, 38T, and 40T sizes, compatible with various 7- to 12-speed systems. It works with chains such as Shimano HG+, SRAM Eagle, AXS Flattop, T-Type, and KMC. Of course, it’s also suitable for single-speed setups.
