TOMII CYCLES製 彫金ブラススペーサー
テキサス州オースティンのカスタムフレームビルダー TOMII CYCLES / トミイサイクルズ 。ビルダーのナオさんこと冨井 直さんはファインアートを学ぶためアメリカに留学し、マサチューセッツ州ボストンで彫刻や立体造形の職に就き、その後フレームビルディングを始めたという異色のキャリアの持ち主です。
そんな彼が作る自転車は、まるでインディアンジュエリーのような繊細で懐かしい雰囲気を持ちながら、最先端のイメージと融合させており、乗って楽しめる自転車作りをモットーに生み出されるバイクは、唯一無二の存在感を放ちます。
ここ数年、カスタムオーダーフレームと同じく製作に力を入れているのが、真鍮製のトップキャップやスペーサー、ベルといった美しいパーツの製作です。
このブラスのスペーサーも、一つ一つナオさんの手によって装飾が施されており、一つとして同じものは存在しません。
全てのパーツはパティナ(ケミカルで色を変化させる)を施した後、ワックスをかけて仕上げており、真鍮の経年変化を楽しむことができます。
ご自身のバイクへのアクセントとしてはもちろん、大切な方やライド仲間へのプレゼントとしても大変喜ばれるアイテムです。

ブラスパーツのメンテナンスですが、全てのパーツはパティナ（ケミカルで色を変化させる）をした後、ワックスをかけてあります。（ラッカーやクリアコートをしてしまうと、質感がよくないため。）
ですので、時間が経つにつれて色が変化します（手の脂などでも風化します）そこが真鍮の面白いところでもあるんですが、定期的にワックスをかけたり（特に手で触った後）柔らかい布で拭いてあげるとオリジナルのパティナが長持ちします。（ジュエリーショップのような感じですね）ワックスは車用、木のフローリング用、なんでも問題ありません。

Regarding the delivery of complete bikes
- Please note that a separate shipping fee of 9,900 yen (tax included) will be charged for shipping complete bikes. (However, an additional fee will be charged for delivery to Okinawa and remote islands.)
- After receiving your order, we will do a final check and ship complete bikes, but it may take 1-2 weeks. Please understand.
- We will send the bike with some parts removed for packing. We strongly recommend that you have your bicycle assembled at your nearest bicycle store.
- We will inform you of the delivery date and other details by e-mail.
- We apologize for any sales discrepancies at the store.
Regarding the delivery of frame sets
- Nationwide flat-rate shipping: 5,500 yen (tax included) (However, an additional fee will be charged for delivery to Okinawa and remote islands.)

- We will provide the pre-treatment of facing and tapping for the frame sets purchased at our store as a service. We will inform you separately after purchase.
- We can also install a headset and BB for a fee, so please feel free to contact us.
