この Straggler / ストラグラーとは何なのか? シンプルに答えると、Cross-Checkにディスクブレーキを追加したもの、これがほぼ正確な答えなのですが、長い間、非常に汎用性のあるCross-Checkのディスクバージョンを作ってほしいという声は上がっていました。
この2台はほぼ全てに関してとても似ているのですが、Stragglerになって少し変わったことがあります。 一番はっきりしている違いはもちろん、Stragglerにはリムブレーキスタッドの代わりにディスクキャリパーマウントがあるということですが、これは最大160mmのローターに対応します。
ラックとフェンダー用のアイレットも豊富でサーリーの8Pack Rackや24Pack Rack、Nice Rackも装着可能。 前後にスライドするホリゾンタル・ドロップアウト・リアエンドによってシングルスピードにもカスタマイズOK。
独特なドロップアウト
独特な変化を遂げたリアドロップアウトは部分的に閉じたホリゾンタル設計で、シングルスピードまたはギア式のドライブトレーンに対応しています。 リアからねじ込むストップスクリューが特徴で、ホイールをしっかり固定したり、最適なシフティングのためにリアホイールの位置を変えたりすることが容易になりました。 さらにドライブサイドの前方に取り付けられたストップスクリューは、乗り手の強大な脚の力のせいでホイールが前方向にスリップするのを防ぎます。 リアドロップアウトの幅はCross-Checkのような132.5mmではなくシンプルに135mm、この幅だとディスクハブの選択肢がぐっと広がります。
Stragglerに出来る事
StragglerにはCross-Checkにもあるフェンダー、ラック、ボトルケージのための直付け小物が全部付いています。 ただStragglerのジオメトリーはCross-Checkとはちょっと異なり、角度とかチューブの長さが微妙に違っています。 でもCross-Checkと同じで、どこにだってあなたを外に連れ出してくれ、日帰りでも2~3日の週末旅行でもお手の物。「荒れた道」用のロードスタイルバイクで、レースに出る素振りなんてまったく見せないシクロクロスバイク、もっとクールに言えば実用的で都会っぽいということです。 そして軽量のツーリングバイクでもあり、全天候型のコミューターバイクでもあります。 1種類の組み合わせに飽きたら、パーツを交換して、別物にもできるので、最高の乗り出しバイクだとサークルズは常に考えています。

Regarding the delivery of complete bikes
- Please note that a separate shipping fee of 9,900 yen (tax included) will be charged for shipping complete bikes. (However, an additional fee will be charged for delivery to Okinawa and remote islands.)
- After receiving your order, we will do a final check and ship complete bikes, but it may take 1-2 weeks. Please understand.
- We will send the bike with some parts removed for packing. We strongly recommend that you have your bicycle assembled at your nearest bicycle store.
- We will inform you of the delivery date and other details by e-mail.
- We apologize for any sales discrepancies at the store.
Regarding the delivery of frame sets
- Nationwide flat-rate shipping: 5,500 yen (tax included) (However, an additional fee will be charged for delivery to Okinawa and remote islands.)

- We will provide the pre-treatment of facing and tapping for the frame sets purchased at our store as a service. We will inform you separately after purchase.
