Description
A versatile hardtail that can be enjoyed as much as you want, whether on the trail or touring
From Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, a group of unrivaled bicycle enthusiasts have been creating tough, long-lasting, and, of course, fun bicycles with frames that can accommodate parts suited to each rider's needs. The SURLY Karate Monkey is the result of the trial-and-error process of the bicycle manufacturer, Surly.
The SURLY Karate Monkey combines the performance of a trail bike with the suppleness of a steel frame, with high scalability for 29"/27.5+,through-axle, high strength and rigidity 44mm head tube, and internal routing for the dropper post. The bike combines the performance of a trail bike with the suppleness of a steel frame.
The bike is not only nimble in singletrack handling, but can also be used for bikepacking specifications by taking advantage of the abundant dowel holes. The wide range of drivetrain compatibility, from single speed to multi-speed, allows freedom to customize the bike to suit the rider's style.
The greatest appeal of the Karate Monkey is its depth of character, which does not limit the ways to play. It is the perfect bike for riders who want to enjoy all kinds of riding, from weekend trail riding to long tours and city riding, all on a single bike.
