The second generation of the 820 series is now 12-speed and every part of the series has been updated.

The ST-RX820, which serves as the shift/brake lever, has been redesigned based on the ergonomics of theGRX.
RX820 series shift levers offer 12-speed mechanical shifting without increasing lever size and can be used all day long for gravel riding in combination with flared drop bars. Design features. Reduced pressure points on the palm of the hand and an enlarged contact area reduce fatigue and provide stable control even on long rides over rough surfaces.

The new GRX shift and brake levers provide a light and responsive feel, while the UNDROPPABLE 2×12 left lever offers smooth front shifting. In addition, the left lever for 1×12 offers a brake-only version and a version that integrates brake and dropper post operation, making it suitable for a wide range of gravel styles.
