Traditional rear racks are built to be almost excessively sturdy and were designed to be used with clip-on panniers. However, these panniers rattle loudly on even slightly rough roads and come loose easily.
When touring off paved roads, you need to be more mindful of how the weight of a loaded bike is distributed.
Adam, who has extensive bike-packing and touring experience—including a ride along the Tour Divide route across the United States—has finally brought to life the ideal rear rack he’s envisioned for years.
It distributes the load perfectly, and by using lightweight strap-style pannier bags from brands like Bags by Bird and San Util Design to store your sleeping bag, cooking set, rain gear, and camping clothes, you can keep the entire frame bag free for food.
If you pack your shelter and sleeping gear into the handlebar roll, the weight is properly distributed and securely fastened, allowing you to ride with peace of mind. If you don’t want to fully equip your bike with panniers, the gear loops and the space at the top of the rack are ideal for securing one or two dry bags or carrying a spare water bottle.
For light-packing trips or “credit card touring,” a few panniers and a half-frame bag provide ample storage space while preserving the bike’s natural riding feel.
The top panel allows you to securely fasten a sleeping pad with a single strap, providing immediate access when you want to take a quick nap in the sun or secure a place to sit during a lunch break with friends at the park.
Bonus: Once set up, attaching or removing this rack takes just a few minutes, allowing for a seamless transition from a bike-packing setup to a regular bike. By eliminating the hassle of getting ready to go, you can enjoy a more enjoyable overnight trip.

Complete Bike Shipping within Japan
- A shipping fee of ¥9,900 (tax included) applies to complete bikes. Additional charges may apply for Okinawa and remote islands.
- After purchase, we perform a final inspection before shipping. Please allow 1–2 weeks in some cases.
- For packing, some parts may be removed. We strongly recommend having the bike reassembled and checked by your local bicycle shop before riding.
- We will contact you by email with delivery details.
- Products are also sold in-store, so availability may change before the order is finalized.
Frameset Shipping within Japan
- Flat-rate shipping within Japan: ¥5,500 (tax included). Additional charges may apply for Okinawa and remote islands.
- Shipping rates for OMNIUM framesets and complete bikes differ.

- Facing and tapping preparation for framesets purchased from Circles is available at no additional charge. Details will be provided after purchase.
- Headset and bottom bracket installation are also available for an additional labor fee. Please contact us if required.
Custom & Stock Wheel Shipping within Japan
- A shipping fee of ¥2,000 (tax included) applies. Additional charges may apply for Okinawa and remote islands.
- Stock wheels undergo a final inspection by a mechanic before shipping. Please allow approximately 3 business days for dispatch.
