We opened up old drawings that had been sitting in our warehouse and breathed life into them once again with today's sensibilities. A piece of stripped-down aluminum that looks great on a classic tourer or a mud-loving cyclocross rider. That is the SimWorks x Honsho Kohken short fender.
Modeled after the traditional short fenders that protected equipment in European races from the 1930s to 1950s, craftsmen carefully deep-bend and form a single sheet of aluminum. The overall length was purposely designed to be short, so that only splashes and dirt around the brake calipers, head tube, and fork can be blocked with precise pinpoint accuracy.
As was once loved by path hunters, it avoids the risk of mud clogging, leaves and pebbles that are common with full fenders, and makes it easy to carry on a bicycle or carrier. The one-point attachment with pigeonholes makes it easy to attach and detach as needed.
Two types of finishes are available: Turtle with a tortoise shell pattern and Smooth with a beautiful arc. The lineup includes 4 models in 2 colors, designed for different tire widths. Protects the appearance of your beloved car without compromising its appearance. The new fenders that combine aesthetics and practicality with a new, innovative design have been reissued here.
