SDG was born in 1991 in a small factory in Southern California. Since then, SDG has consistently manufactured saddles and seatposts. Many of their models have a rugged, California-style design that works well with various genres of bikes, especially mountain bikes, and are now used by the world's top athletes, who appreciate the performance and design of their products.
Developed with top freeride athletes, the Apollo / Apollo is designed to withstand the rigors of slopestyle and dirt jumps, with the same compact shell design as the Patriot, but with hard impact dampening pads and a wider nose section for enhanced pincer strength. With a Kevlar cover and silicone side prints, the Icon is a grippy and durable seat.
