APIM Aluminum Polyax Secure Lock is an aluminum nipple that combines light weight with resistance to loosening.
Aluminum nipples are an effective choice when you want to reduce the weight of the outer circumference of the wheel. Especially for road, gravel, and race wheels, and in combination with lightweight rims, even small weight differences can significantly impact the overall feel of the wheel.
The Polyax shape is designed to optimize the contact surface with the rim hole by giving the nipple head a near-spherical shape, allowing it to naturally follow the spoke angle. Even in structures where spoke alignment can be difficult, such as deep rims, offset rims, and disc brake wheels, properly accommodating angle differences reduces spoke twist and tension unevenness, ensuring durability even with lightweight wheels.
Furthermore, the Secure Lock specification significantly increases rotational resistance through microscopic processing of the screw threads, powerfully suppressing loosening due to vibrations during riding. If you want to build lightweight wheels but are concerned that being merely lightweight isn't enough, this is the nipple to choose.
However, aluminum nipples require higher precision during assembly compared to brass nipples. Their full benefits are realized when used with professional assembly in mind, including high-tension installation, anti-seizing measures, proper tool selection, and condition checks during re-adjustment.

- 梱包の都合上、いくつかのパーツを外した状態でお送り致します。最寄りの自転車店様にて組み付け作業をご依頼することを強くお勧めいたします。

フレームセットの配送

カスタム・ストックホイールの配送
- 配送には別途送料2000円(税込) を頂戴いたします。なお、沖縄・離島への配送は追加料金を頂きます。
- ストックホイールはメカニックによる最終チェックをして出荷いたしますので出荷まで3営業日ほどお時間いただきます。
