Never forgetting their initial impulse to design items they themselves want to use, their product lineup is imbued with the spirit of "making only what we want to create," with each piece carrying a specific message from them.

Hillary Wallet 01 is part of the first-ever wallet series from RAWLOW MOUNTAIN WORKS (RLMW), a tri-fold billfold featuring a round-zippered coin pocket. The leather used is 3M waterproof leather, making it a professional-grade product that can be used worry-free in both the mountains and the city.

RLMW's goal was to create something for "from mountain huts to 3-star restaurants." While many brands have released hiker wallets in recent years, RLMW says they have been thinking about a "mountain wallet" for about five years. They mentioned that after creating several samples, they couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't quite right, and the project ended up in a labyrinth. However, last year, a chance occurrence led them to shift their perspective back to their roots, which resulted in the rapid completion of this Hillary Wallet.

This leather wallet is carefully finished one by one by skilled Japanese craftsmen specializing in wallets. Its high-quality, delicate construction is something anyone can appreciate the moment they pick it up. With a reliable quality that rivals high-end designer wallets and a charm that grows as it breaks in with use, this waterproof leather wallet is versatile enough for both daily life and outdoor scenes.

The exterior of the wallet features the RLMW logo in silver foil stamping. They were meticulous about the delicacy of the foil stamping.

Also, a famous quote from legendary mountaineer Sir Edmund Hillary—the first person to successfully reach the summit of Mount Everest, from whom the Hillary Wallet gets its name—is blind embossed on the leather. This kind of delicate expression is only possible with high-quality leather. It is a famous quote related to money and mountaineering, and notably, Hillary is the only mountaineer to have his portrait featured on New Zealand currency.
