The main material is tough 1000 denier nylon, and the expression of the wooden nylon and the unique colors pay homage to the good old heavy-duty products of the 80s. The material was selected for its resistance to slipping on granite and other rocky terrain common in Japan's mountainous regions, as well as for its toughness in the winter when skis or other equipment are attached to the side portions. Spectra Grid 210D is used for the front panel and the harness part, which is subject to frequent friction with ice axes and crampons in winter, and is resistant to splitting. The bottom and roll-top areas, which are frequently exposed to water, are made of X-PAC, which is lightweight, strong, and highly waterproof. For the invisible parts, such as the back pad and the inner padding of the shoulder harness, we have repeatedly tested and selected the best materials for the comfort of carrying. Although they may feel a little stiff at first, they are designed so that you will not get tired during long hikes and will become more comfortable as you use them. Our goal was to create a backpack that does not make you feel the actual weight of the pack. The balance of the harness design and attachment points, and the compatibility of the inner padding can make a surprisingly drastic difference in the comfort of carrying a backpack. The beautiful appearance of the shoulder harness when the backpack is lowered is also designed with attention to detail.
