TEIJIN Octa®︎ x nylon reversible vest
This vest is a new product under the RAL label, created with the idea of having something that can be worn on a daily basis as well as for riding.
The star of this vest is Octa®︎, a polyester fiber developed by TEIJIN, a Japanese fiber manufacturer well known for its catch copy "Not Just Teijin.
It is a hollow, irregular cross-section polyester fiber with eight protrusions arranged in a radial pattern in the hollow fiber. It is a new-generation lightweight fleece fabric with various functions such as sweat absorption, quick-drying, light weight, heat shielding/insulation, and bulkiness.
We decided to boldly adopt this fabric for the other side, as opposed to the nylon fabric side.
Cycling vests are basically wind vest-like vests made of nylon fabric that shuts out wind, while casual vests are generally made with padding, which is a little too hot for riding. These vests are too hot for riding, and can be used for riding, or if you want, they are just right for everyday wear. When we tried to create such a vest, the perfect balance of warmth retention, moisture absorption, quick-drying, and lightness of TEIJIN Octa®︎ made it possible to create a one-of-a-kind vest.
You may be thinking, "But what's the point of combining this material with a nylon fabric?" You may be thinking, "But what's the point of combining such a great material with a nylon fabric?
It is true that this combination might spoil the goodness of Octa®︎, but since the vest has a structure that allows for easy ventilation through the zip opening and cuffs, there are no negative factors at all. It can be used in a wide range of seasons other than summer, depending on what you wear under the vest.
The silhouette is extremely simple. The silhouette is extremely simple, and can be worn on a ride, or even worn straight out on the town. For a change of pace, turn it inside out and wear it with the Octa®︎ side facing out, and you can enjoy a different look thanks to the fluffy texture of the fabric. The extra bonus is that if you stick your hand in the pocket, it will get warmer.
Incidentally, the nylon fabric also has a chest pocket, which is packable, making it useful for riding or traveling.

- 梱包の都合上、いくつかのパーツを外した状態でお送り致します。最寄りの自転車店様にて組み付け作業をご依頼することを強くお勧めいたします。

カスタム・ストックホイールの配送
- 配送には別途送料2000円(税込) を頂戴いたします。なお、沖縄・離島への配送は追加料金を頂きます。
- ストックホイールはメカニックによる最終チェックをして出荷いたしますので出荷まで3営業日ほどお時間いただきます。
